Our group program aims to empower you and give you the tools and support needed to get off the smokes and vapes.

Face to face group program

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have told us they wanted group-based support to be smoke and vape-free. So, we collaborated with Aboriginal Health Services to develop the program!

What does the program include?

  • Attending face to face group sessions (you can select the comprehensive 6 week program, or one of our half day events) and share your journey with other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.

  • The sessions will include interactive learning, yarning, weaving, and social support.

  • You will receive resources to keep you strong, informed and busy  throughout your journey.

  • We can also support you with free nicotine replacement therapy (patches, gum etc) mailed out to you.

What will I need to do?

  • To support the team in evaluating if the Which Way? program works we will ask you to first consent to being part of the research component.

  • We will ask you to complete 3 surveys along the way. The surveys ask about your smoking and vaping, and your thoughts about the support offered through the groups.

  • We are collecting this data so we can improve the program and help more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women become smoke and vape free.

Our program is delivered as a 6 week program or half day event, click below to find a location and time that best suits your schedule...
